Red Line is our premium range of garments developed in the A.BCH creative process. The pieces are limited editions or are one of a kind, made from unique and rare materials we discover or create.

The Bolt Plaid Trousers are a crafted from a limited edition speciality Japanese fabric. The fabric is a lightweight gauze that has been loomed with two sides, making the material double sided. Each trouser leg is cut from one piece of material allowing for huge pleats and no seams. The two toned waistband is finished with a doubled chunky cord drawstring.

Make

Description

The Bolt Plaid Trousers are made to order entirely in-house at the A.BCH studio. While we have a standard range of sizes, we are also able to customise the piece at your request. We've designed these trousers from a stunning limited edition material, only cutting the fabric to order. The piece is constructed in-house by our tailors before being trimmed and pressed.

Label

Description

100% recycled PET made in-house by a manufacturer with a passion for developing sustainable alternatives for brands. This is the only part of the garment that isn’t biodegradable. There's good news! In 2019 we developed a way to make these labels in organic cotton which feature in garments from A.31 onwards. Our Red Line pieces utilise earlier numbers so please remove before composting.

End of Life

Recycling

To recycle this piece, send it back to us for store credit. We'll even cover shipping! Depending on its condition, we'll repair & re-sell it (as second hand) OR transform it into brand new yarns through our recycling program (so circular, darling).

Compost

If returning is unlikely (you're busy with a climate rally or living off the grid), these trousers are 99.5% compostable. After a long life of use, repair and re-use, simply remove the A.BCH tag and cut the rest into strips, safe for anaerobic composting at home or commercially.
